Crafting with children can be so much fun and so rewarding too. Well I recently vowed that as my blogging is getting more and more for me and didn’t want my little boy feeling left out, I got him this craft subscription box.
Toucan craft boxes offer a free trial using an affiliate code allowing everyone to try the small box before committing to the full monthly subscription. I tried the free box and here is what we think. I have provided a code to try a free box at the end along with a link to the site.
The trial box is a nice small size and so will fit through the letterbox. It comes with the child’s name on so allows them to get something just for them in the post. When it arrived in post it was brightly packaged and designed to attract children’s attention. This meant my son left the post on floor and took his bright blue and white coloured box.
So you are wondering what do you get in the trial box. Well for the trial box you get:
- a welcome leaflet
- an achievement sticker (to add to a chart you get in your first full paid box)
- 1 x activity (our theme was Easter)
Yes this may not seem much but you be surprised how much fun this small box will provide.
My son and I got a theme of Easter so we got an activity based on that theme. The activities are ideal for 3-8 year olds but if wanting to do as a family this is fine for 2-year-olds too. We got all messy and had loads of fun making the Easter bunny picture on hessian square. It did take us 2 days as my son really plastered on the paint so took overnight to dry before being able to add our pom-pom tail which we made. Each activity does come with really simple instructions and simple illustrations for kids to know what they are doing.
end feeling on this?
Well we had so much fun we decided we wanted to try a bigger box the following month. This means for £13 a month we are getting 2 activities and a book to enjoy. Want to try it for yourself then click the link below and get yours for free before committing.
